“Passionate”
“Brilliantly
Colorful”
“Soothing”
“Joyful”
These are just some of the adjectives that collectors have used to define the painting of Pennsylvania-born artist Tony La Salle.
Using acrylic on canvas, his most popular subjects include sunflowers, florals, seascapes, and abstracts.
He has also garnered an enthusiastic following for his stylized portraits, the three sisters, crowds of people at an event, and his massive bountiful gardens.
Described as an “artist’s artist,” Tony characterizes his paintings as “extremely personal and reflective, the results coming from an unplanned internal journey.” His work hangs in private homes, galleries, corporations, restaurants, cafes, and universities from Boston and New York on the east coast to San Francisco on the west coast, as well as in Paris, Tokyo, Taipei, and Lebanon.
Over his thirty-year career as an artist, he has sold more than ten thousand paintings.
In addition to Tony La Salle Gallery in Asbury Park, NJ, Tony’s works can be purchased at 333 Belrose in Radnor, PA, and Winnie’s in Manayunk, PA.
A professor of education and art on the faculty of Delaware Valley University, Tony maintains a studio in Lambertville, NJ.
